Maybe he really does love his sister!?!

Sometimes Pierce surprises us. Most of the time he beats up his sister pinching and hitting her when he thinks we're not looking but when we were at the Sesame Street Playground we sent Pierce and Cole to wait in line for the bouncy house and told Pierce to take care of his sister. Clint went back to check on them and got this picture.

Later in the day Cole had found 2 quarters and was carring them everywhere. Mommy told Cole to put them in her wallet so they wouldn't get lost and Cole didn't want to. And what do you think happened...Not even 10 minutes later she realized they were lost. So Pierce reached into his pocket and gave her one of his dimes (which he only had three).

The day before at Disneyland, Cole dropped her candy and most of it spilled. She was of course devistated and cried and cried so Pierce (without any prompting from us) gave her some of his. It was a microscopic amount but it's the thought that counts right?

These are the moments that make it all worth it. We are so proud of Pierce for being such a good big brother.

Lake Pleasant

Boating at Lake Pleasant with
Dan and Jamie White

This week has been rough. We found out Clint's job is changing and will come with a pay decrease. All week we've been stressed trying to figure out how we were going to make it all work. So, it was a really nice break from worring to go out on Dan and Jamie's boat and not think about everything for a day.

The kids had an absolute blast. They loved every second of being on the boat. Pierce and Cole sat up front with Taylor and screamed and laughed as the wind and water hit them in the face. They swam and jumped off the back of the boat and had Clint throw them up in the air into the water.

Dan taught them both how to knee board and they were pretty proud of themselves. Cole thought she was pretty hot stuff out there. Pierce caught on quickly and was able to get on his knees and balance right away and rode a long way around the lake.

Cooper did great hanging out. He played and ate and slept. We decided to let him put his feet in the water but he was crying for more so we let him swim around and splash with all of us. He threw a big fit when he had to get out!

We ate lunch on the boat and fed the ducks who came right up to us and then went home sore and sunburned and took really long naps!

I think it's been at least 3 years since I've skied. It took a few tries to get the feel of it again. By the time I found my groove I was too tired to do anything more.

For Clint it's been 7 years since he's skied. I was really worried about his back but he did okay out there and had a good time.

Water Babies!

Summer is here in Arizona and it's hot!!! Here's how we've been keeping cool...

Jumping on the trampoline with the sprinkler at Dan and Jamie's house

Eating otter pops with our friends Taylor and Parker

Going to the WaterPark with our friends

Pierce and Cole on the Rainbow Racers

Pierce won!!! But only because he's the only one who could push off by himself so he was first one down.

Swimming almost daily in our backyard pool

The Water Baby

My wannabe swimsuit model!

The first summer we moved to Phoenix we thought we might die from heat exhaustion! But someone told us no matter how hot it gets...you don't have to shovel or scrape it! How right they are. Now that we've been here almost four years we have become evidence of evolution and have learned to adapt to our surroundings. Now the heat doesn't really bother us as we go from one air conditioned place to the next. As a bonus there is so much fun stuff to do here. We live five minutes from Wet n Wild water park and have season passes. We bought movie theater passes and we go to a kids movie once a week. We have our pool which we use daily and we have some really fun friends to hang out with.
