WOW - time flies. A little catching up

Its been a long time since we posted anything, things have been busy! In July Andrea, Pierce and Cole went to Idaho for a week to visit family. Everybody had a great time in Inkom and Arbon. After a week Clint flew up to Boise and met Andrea at the airport, spent a couple of hours at Fuhrimans house and then flew up to Anchorage Alaska for a week. What an amazing place Alaska is. The kids stayed with grandma's and grandpa's while we spent a week there in Alaska. Some of the highlights included spending a couple of days in Denali part - even getting a great view of the Summit which less is actually kind of rare since it is so high and usually covered with clouds - along with going whale watching, driving throughout Central Alaska and even doing something new, ice-climbing!

At the end of the vacation we flew back to Boise, drove to E Idaho to pick up the kids and made the very long 14 hour drive back to Phoenix. We'll upload some of the amazing and fun pictures from our vacation and the kids vacation in E. Idaho.

Updates!

Well what's going on here in Phoenix? It's the beautiful time of year - 70's during the day and believe it or not this is the green season!

Pierce finished his intro to soccer class for 3 year olds. They had a little scrimmage and Pierce scored 3 goals...unfortunately he was a little confused on the first play of the game and kicked it into his own goal! He then got it figured out and scored 2 goals on the right side of the field....so he ended up +1. Soccer probably wont be his ultimate sport....he didnt enjoy it that much and is much more interested in tackling and believe it or not, golf! He doesnt have much interest in watching sports with the exception of golf which he can sit down and watch for long periods of time. He is at a fun stage where he is very independent, loves to play with others and wants to marry his mommy! He is extremely outgoing and will chat anybody's ear off and talks about Disneyland continually as a result of our Thanksgiving vacation.

Cole turns 2 this month and she is quite the diva. She is starting to speak in sentences and is very, very picky about her clothes. She picks out her own shoes each day and her favorites are sparkly pink ones which she is so proud of, and everyday Andrea opens her closet and points at the different options until Cole decides which she wants which she is very adamant about pointing at a pink one saying, "I want that pink one!" It never lasts long - she is the messiest child in the world and goes through at least 5 outfits a day. She is quite the flirt but has a very loud, explosive temper if she doesnt get what she wants.

Andrea is extremely busy - doing 2 days of dental hygiene per week and going to school at Arizona State 3 days per week. She has decided she wants to try and get into dental school, there are 2 here in the Phoenix area she will apply to ina couple of years. Between kids, school, running the house and being in the Relief Society Presidency she is busy! Over Christmas we bought her a sweet new all black, Ford Explorer Limited. It has the 3 rows of seats we were looking for and the most important thing - tv in the back for the kids!

I (Clint) am also taking classes part-time on my MBA and am busy with work. My job has a lot of diversity - teaching, creating new programs and even ghost-writing some articles that have appeared in some major dental magazines. Hopefully soon my name will start appearing in the tagline! My current project is developing a 12 month training program for dental sales reps that will consist of group trainings, online webcasts and 1 on 1 coaching....I'll be teaching it when completed and am shooting for a May rollout. I didnt get a new vehicle like Andrea but did get a new HD tv that will be great come football season!

All in all life is pretty good - Andrea and I both love our jobs and the companies we work for. The kids are wild but healthy and happy. Attached is a couple of pics of the kids in the backyard....as you can see yards here arent what we were used to in Idaho!

Couple of Christmas pics

For Christmas we went to Idaho for 7 days, braving the cold and 14 hour drive from Phoenix. Quite the change going from sunny and 70 in Phoenix to 10 degrees and snowy. Had a great christmas seeing the family. Here are a couple of pics from Christmas - Pierce was very excited about all his presents while Cole, the little diva, was so happy about her new clothes and loves putting on her pretty dress and high heels.....

First Post on the Blog

Ok we finally got around to establishing our blog! This will be a fun way to keep in touch with everybody and also to provide updates on our family or post pictures. We'll set a goal to post something every week or so! Attached is a picture of Pierce outside with his golfing set and Cole at the neighborhood park after a big rainstorm. (yes it does rain now and then in Phoenix)
